My default rates are oriented around the Swiss market, but I will gladly apply discounts to accommodate your economic situation:

Disclaimer on Artificial Intelligence

While generative AI is impressive technology, the impact on humans and the environment seems to be disastrous. I don't want to delegate my work to machines with no feeling and taste, and I don't see the appeal of blindly chasing productivity over understanding.

But I also feel obligated to stay informed about current developments, and want to keep an open mind about ethical, responsible use cases. Currently this means that I sometimes use AI assistants for research and basic repetitive tasks, but I mostly stay away from agentic end-to-end workflows.

I will keep revisiting this stance, but in the meantime I want to establish some principles that you can hold me to:

  • Privacy: I prefer open-weight models hosted by privacy-respecting providers. Your data is never shared without your consent.
  • Transparency: I will discuss any notable AI use with you before starting a project.
  • Responsibility: When I do use AI to generate code or documentation, I will always thoroughly review and validate it.
